Game of Thrones without an R is Game Of Thones.
"Well excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me, princess!"
Agreed. In theory. Get Studio Ghibli on the case!
Transistor is an absolute beauty. I'd suggest taking your time with it though (don't mean to sound like a patronising douche, but I mean it's got a lot going on and it's best the first time around!)
@rlacorne: Right on. They're amazing in their own right, amazing as a series and you'll be able to appreciate how each game tweaks and changes the formula and themes while keeping certain things intact.
@bggriffiths: With respect, your pile can wait. God Of War II HD and Amalur will be there when you're finished -- and Crysis 2 is, well, erm, there's a reason you forgot you started it.
Heh, that would be great, but we'd have to cram in all the instant game collection titles into one weekend!
Might be possible. Maybe.
Completely forgot about this game, sort of ironically.
Might check it out eventually, nice to see a different take on it.
"Metroid Prime Storage Hunters."
Awful, yet I'd watch the heck out of it.
Oh yeah, it should tell a standalone story. You might miss out on some references, recurring characters/themes and fanservice, but nothing too important...
...wait, what am I saying? Definitely play the previous games ANYWAY. They're amazing.
That is a good price. Feel like waiting for a deal is the right play here - Evolve looks to have a relatively small amount of content at £45-50 but might feel more fully-featured at a discount.
Wasn't sold on the alpha/beta tests though.
"Loved" is a bit of an understatement. "Watched about two dozen times back to back while frothing at the mouth" is probably more accurate.
Feel like PS Plus is back on form this year after a bit of a lull. Transistor, Apotheon and Yakuza 4 will do me nicely!
I can't quite bring myself to pre-order this one. High hopes, low expectations - with luck there'll be great user reviews and I'll pick it up in the slow summer months where I can really sink my teeth into it.
"take advantage of Evolve preorder bonuses"
Sorry, but can we please stop phrasing it like this? It should read "pay top dollar for something that might not be any good, before it's even reviewed, for pointless little bits of content/incentives that have been cynically scraped out of the main game."
Last chance? Cool. I'll wait.
Hey, those postcards make great coasters. They'll pay for themselves by 2397.
Erm, I think you need to get your beer somewhere else!
Still a great price though. Really enjoyed the quad wielding.
Erm, basically, yeah.
Well done Activision. Still, nice to see them supporting the pre-owned market! XD
Seconded! Still, I do appreciate that some prefer a tighter and more focused JRPG experience.
Personally I like to have it all. Roll on Xenoblade X.
Oh gawd yes. Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to MHU4, but I'm itching to face down (and then run screaming away from) Xenoblade X's critters. In a mech.
Horses for courses I guess pecorre. Perhaps XC dabbled with MMO-style design a bit too heavily in parts, but for me it was a near-perfect fusion, especially since I dug on the stories and characters. Even Riki. ;)
I can't tell you what to like, and fair play for voicing your (perfectly valid) opinion. Hope you don't get too much hate.
Yeah, it's a steal especially if you earn a PS3, PS4 AND Vita. The savings on the instant game collection become ridiculous.
